Development is our strength. We constantly innovate our tube benders. We talk to our customers, and their specific requirements drive us to continuously think and create new innovations. These range from minor design adjustments to entirely new bender prototypes. We specialize in custom solutions tailored specifically for our customers.
We develop, manufacture, and sell standard tube benders, ranging from manual XOTR benders to high-performance XOT 80 CNC machines that bend dozens of tubes per hour. From time to time, however, customers approach us with unique requirements for their bending equipment—and we are always happy to accommodate them. Here are a few examples of interesting projects involving custom-engineered benders. To protect trade secrets, our customers' names are omitted.
In 2010, we developed and manufactured the XOTS 15 bender for a customer supplying equipment to the food industry. Their primary requirement was the ability to produce stainless steel tube spirals with a 12 mm diameter. We delivered exactly what they needed.
In 2013, a company manufacturing energy sector equipment reached out to us. For them, we developed a special XOT 20 S bender designed to bend condensation loops from 21 mm diameter tubes into a 360° helix.
In 2015, we supplied a custom XOTL 60 special bender to two companies manufacturing hydraulic components. The bender produces tube elbows from tubes with diameters of 14 to 53 mm, bending them to tight radii of 25 to 90 mm. The raw material consists of tubes with pre-machined ends.
At the beginning of 2017, we custom-built a modified XOTL 60H bender for a company supplying products to the construction industry. It was fitted with a 6 m attachment and special formers up to 760 mm in diameter. The bender shapes "J" profiles made of 2 mm thick galvanized sheet metal, which serve as guide tracks for sectional garage doors.
When a customer comes to us with a request for a custom bender, we ask for basic technical specifications. Our R&D department evaluates the inquiry and prepares a draft design of the machine, which forms the basis of our price quotation. Once an agreement on price is reached, we proceed with engineering design. Throughout development, manufacturing, and testing, we stay in close contact with the client. Final operator training takes place either at our facility or directly at the customer's site.
