CNC milling of metals
Do you need a precisely machined metal part that fits perfectly into your assembly and arrives on the agreed date? At UnitPlus, we provide CNC milling and custom manufacturing of mechanically stressed parts for industrial machinery, the power sector, the railway sector, and general engineering – from individual prototypes to medium-sized production runs.
We specialise in precise and technologically demanding milling of steels, cast iron, aluminium alloys, and non-ferrous metals.
Milling can handle practically any shape – flat surfaces, pockets, holes, threads, grooves, contoured profiles and 3D surfaces.
When to choose CNC milling and when conventional milling machines
We use machines according to the type of task:
- CNC machining centres – for complex shapes, production runs, parts requiring high precision, or parts that need many operations in a single clamping.
By combining both groups, we handle both demanding series orders and ad-hoc single-piece adjustments – and we optimise costs according to the nature of the assignment. Materials we mill
We mill a wide range of metal materials:
- Structural and tool steels – for machine components as well as the manufacture of moulds and jigs.
- Stainless materials – including food-grade and pharmaceutical stainless steel 1.4404 and hardenable stainless steel 1.4034.
- Aluminium alloys – for lightweight structures as well as aerospace/precision applications.
- Cast iron – for rigid mechanical parts and machine frames.
- Non-ferrous metals – brass and copper , particularly for electrical parts and wiring.
What we produce through milling
We mill a wide range of parts – from simple flat components to spatially complex shapes:
- Structural and machine parts – plates, flanges, bodies, housings, brackets.
- Moulds, jigs and tools – for follow-up manufacturing operations at the customer's premises.
- Spatially complex components – machined on five-axis centres in a single clamping.
- Custom spare parts – for the servicing and maintenance of machinery where the original part is no longer readily available.
What you gain from working with us
Our customers turn to us when they need consistent quality and the assurance that finished parts will arrive exactly on the agreed date.
- One supplier, a complete part – from material selection through machining and subsequent operations to final inspection. You do not have to coordinate a chain of external suppliers.
- Reliable deadlines – we plan production with a realistic buffer that we keep.
- Mature technology – regularly calibrated machines, experienced process engineers and final inspection of every part.
- Volume flexibility – single-piece production, prototypes, and medium series.
